BLS for Healthcare Providers

Direct patient care providers or first responders needing CPR certification for employment should take this course. Single-rescuer and team life support skills for application in prehospital and in-facility environments are taught. A healthcare professionals' understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, relieving choking, basic steps of performing CPR, using an AED, and the role of each link in the "Chain of Survival" is also covered. This course is appropriate for nurses, Dental/Dialysis/Patient Care Technicians, LPNs, Physicians, Dentists, Chiropractors, Home Health Aides, Physical/Occupational/Respiratory therapists (and students), Law Enforcement acting as first responders, Firefighers, EMTs/Paramedics, etc.... The trainee will receive a card valid for two years.


Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who wishes to be better prepared for cardiopulmonary emergencies, or who needs a course completion card for regulatory or employment purposes. Students will receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years.

First Aid

Designed to meet OSHA regulations, this course covers first aid basics, consisting of the most common life-threatening emergencies, how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. We are not providing regularly scheduled classes at this time. Group rates are available for those who wish to schedule a special appointment.
